My Bliss Experience: The Good Spot
Have you ever read about an experience of bliss and ecstasy so intense that,
afterwards, nothing was ever the same again? I had read many such accounts,
and I had thought that such experiences were only available to mystics who
spent decades meditating in remote Himalayan caves, or chanting mantras by
the hour. But I was wrong.
Not long after the Dream Voice experience and the connection with Navin,
I had one of the most intense and exciting experiences of my entire life.
Here is the journal entry I wrote about it:
“In a half sleep, I become aware of a spot just past the middle
of my head on the right side, which feels soft, vibrant, illuminated
and strangely expansive. Then my awareness expands to my body. It is
so sensitively charged, in a state of extreme bliss. There are tiny
explosions of light around me and through me. I breathe slowly and
steadily and the iridescent sparklers keep falling into me, into my
arms and fingertips, and radiating throughout my whole body. Only the
slightest of focus on that blissful state brings it about. These tiny
explosions of light like fireworks go on and on throughout my body.
I am ecstatic. It’s a mystery to me. My heart is free.
I feel like I can do anything. I’m not bound to a physical body,
in fact, my body is irrelevant, and I’m thankful for that. Spirits
exist on another dimension; we can transcend this space and time. My
mind is freed. I am without limitations. Bliss is all around. My eyes
move involuntarily, as if in the deepest of dreams, but I am not sleeping.
It is blissful and orgasmic even though it has not been brought on
by a sexual experience. It’s a mystery to me. I am charged full
of energy.........
Decoding Dreams
Dreams offer us a way to solve problems, gain insight into ourselves,
and receive messages. Our dreams speak through symbolism, but then
humans are symbol-makers, using symbols to communicate, from early
cave drawings, religious symbols, and Chinese lettering to traffic
signs and corporate advertising. The symbol language of dreams is especially
mysterious and fascinating.........
Here are some other helpful distinctions about dreams, loosely taken
from Sylvia Browne’s Book of Dreams. These definitions
were very handy as I learned to differentiate between my own prophetic,
guidance and regular release dreams.
Wish Dreams: These are about our underlying feelings of desire or wish-fulfillment
fantasy.
Release Dreams: These generally give us an infinitely expansive view
of ourselves, of what’s going on in our lives and of how we really
feel about things. These can provide useful information, since they
point out feelings that our conscious minds are often too busy, confused,
or afraid to let us confront. They are usually the most disturbing and
chaotic dreams we experience, but are helpful in disposing of emotional “garbage”.
Prophetic Dreams: Here we witness the future during sleep. Every prophetic
dream has two qualities in common: they are in color (although not every
color dream is prophetic!), and the action in the dream takes place in
sequence, with one event leading to another, which leads to another,
in some kind of logical order. Unlike other kinds of dreams that can
be hilariously random and incoherent, the prophetic ones unfold in the
form of step-by step stories and, because of that, can usually be tracked
more easily by the conscious mind later, when the dreamer is awake.........
The Power of Manifestation
Making Visions Real: The Dream House
A lot has been written recently about the power of intention and the
positive effects of visualization. I have seen many times how the act
of setting a deeply-desired spirit-goal and backing it up by creatively
imagining the outcome can bring that very outcome to pass.
Here is a great example, in a letter from my friend Jon, that shows
how he did this in a startling way:
“My wife Roisin and I sat down to our anniversary dinner back in
1998 and, as we often did, asked ourselves the question, ‘Where do
we want to be in the future?’ We had a habit of making goals to help
us achieve those things we needed to. However, on this occasion,
I said I would love to live in a waterfront home. I picked up a piece
of paper and said, ‘like this‘ and proceeded to sketch out
what I had in mind.........
